Pinnacle Competition 2026

The Pinnacle Competition 2026
Explain to your younger self
From a young age, children form their earliest aspirations by observing the world around them. The first spark of inspiration often comes from simple moments — a story, a lesson, or someone explaining their work in a way that feels exciting and meaningful.
This year's Pinnacle Competition concept "Explain It to My Younger Self" invites participants to share about the Built Environment sector through this lens. By imagining how they would introduce sustainability in the built environment to their younger selves, participants decode concepts into engaging stories that make understanding more accessible and inspiring.
Singapore's Green Building Masterplan aims to green 80% of all buildings by 2030. By encouraging participants to explain sustainability to their younger selves, we hope to spark the kind of early inspiration that could shape tomorrow's Built Environment professionals.
Laying The Foundations For A Sustainable Tomorrow
This year's Pinnacle Competition challenges students to create an exciting video reel about a sustainable building.
Your mission is to discover what makes this building environmentally friendly and share your findings through engaging storytelling. Break down sustainability concepts into clear, interesting stories that anyone can understand and enjoy.
The Challenge
Create a 3-minute video reel that features a Green Mark building in Singapore.
Use creativity, storytelling, and visual explanation to show how thoughtful sustainable design in the Built Environment contributes to a greener future for Singapore.
The iBuildSG Club Pinnacle Competition 2026 is organised by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). Vero Marketing Services Pte Ltd is the appointed official administrator and coordinator for the competition.
